The Maturity of Miggy

Cabrera took the route that Josh Hamilton did last year when the Rangers clinched a spot, he stayed sober and didn't celebrate with booze like the rest of his team. Instead, Cabrera was seen in a corner smoking a stogie, with a bottle of water in his hand. Sure he celebrated in the locker room, but he didn't touch any alcohol. That shows a lot of maturity coming from the guy who had a ridiculous DUI in Florida before the season and was the joke of the baseball community like, "What's Miguel Cabrera's favorite inning? The bottom of the fifth." Not gonna lie, I laughed the first time I heard that (and still do). Miguel has matured a lot this year even though he's still a baby-faced 28 year old. I have new respect for Cabrera after last night.
Oh yeah, for all you sippin' on your full glass of Haterade, people DO change.
