Top Lyrics

"Now that both of us, are colorblind, ’cause the other side looks greener, Which leaves your turf in a Boise State, can’t see a play or the team"

- The Real Her (Andre 3000 Verse)

"We know, they don’t get you like I will, My only wish is I die real, Cause that truth hurts, and those lies heal"

- Take Care (Drake Verse)

"Know you’ve been hurt by someone else, I can tell by the way you carry yourself, If you let me, here’s what I’ll do, I’ll take care of you, I’ve loved and I’ve lost"

- Take Care (Rihanna Chorus)

First impression of "Take Care" below:

The album leaked yesterday and is nothing short of spectacular with all the hype that has surrounded this album as being "album of the year". Classic Drake with about half low-key songs and the other half are upbeat and coming at you. The one line that stuck out to me is at the end of "Shot For Me" where Drake talks wisdom:

"May your neighbors respect you, trouble neglect you, angels protect you, and heaven accept you"

-Shot For Me

"Take Care" review continues...

Shanell (feat. Drake & Lil Wayne) "So Good"

Nice R&B song from Shanell that features two heavyweights from Young Money. Drake goes innn.

"So Good" = HOT

Drake (feat. Lil Wayne) "The Motto"

This will be a bonus track on "Take Care" which comes out two weeks from today.

"The Motto" = HOT

Drake (feat. Lil Wayne) "The Real Her"

Another "Take Care" leak, and I'm really feeling this song. Although Drake pushed the album back 3 weeks, I am anxious to see how much better he says it is. Weezy kicks a verse too, a good verse.

"The Real Her" = FIRE

Drake (feat. Nicki Minaj) "Make Me Proud"

If you haven't already heard this song, give it a listen now. The lyrics and beat are both addicting.

"Make Me Proud" = FIRE

Tyga (feat. Drake) "Still Got It"

Tyga's new single off his upcoming album "Careless World" debuting November 19th. Drake is smooth on the chorus, and Tyga delivers a couple good verses. Nothing too special about this song, but it's solid. Kinda wish Drake would have spit a verse. Worth a listen.

SIZZLE SCORE = 8.5

Sizzlin' Lyrics

You think I'm so caught up in where I am right now, Uh, but believe I remember it all"

"Club Paradise" by Drake

Drake "Club Paradise" and "Free Spirit"

Alright I know these tracks are over a week old (OMG) but both of these songs are too good not to post. Both of these songs are assumed to be off "Take Care" by Drake which releases October 24th. "Club Paradise" grew on me after a couple listens but it is definitely one of Drake's finer pieces. It's real mellow and of course has those Drizzy lyrics that make you think. "Free Spirit" features Rick Ross on a verse and has a great instrumental as well. Drake kills the opening and then Rick Ross does his dirty talk thing (kinda) for a while before Drake comes back and finishes it off. Sorry for not going more in-depth about the songs today, but I feel like a zombie after being at the library for about four hours. "TAKE CARE"
